Community Grants

For Auglaize County organizations and businesses looking to make our communities more accessible and inclusive.

The American Recovery Plan Act dollars awarded to County Boards of DD serve

 to empower people with disabilities to live and engage independently, improve infrastructure

 to make communities more accessible, add universal changing tables in public places,

create more community experiences, ensure conferences and meetings are inclusive,

 and increase outreach efforts to unserved and underserved communities. 

ACCESSIBLE COMMUNITIES GRANT

Grants may be requested by agencies or organizations looking to increase community accessibility for individuals with a developmental disability. Examples include: playground communication boards, accessible playground equipment, sensory-inclusive environments, etc.
