2nd Annual Blue on Blue basketball game slated for Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 6:30 PM at the Wapakoneta High School Gymnasium.

Undeterred by the final score of last year’s inaugural event, the Auglaize County Law Enforcement All Stars are back to square off against the defending State Champion Auglaize County Mustangs.

The Memorial High School scoreboard shows the final score of the 2016 match-up with the Mustangs as the home team.

The Mustangs team features players of all ages who know how to play the game and are used to winning. The All Stars team consists of players from the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office, as well as the Cridersville, St. Marys and Wapakoneta Police Departments. Led by Sheriff Al Solomon, this group of volunteers is determined to give the Mustangs a run for their money in 2017!

Coinciding with Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month in March, this event is intended to bring our Auglaize County communities together while highlighting the talents and strengths we all have to offer. It is sure to be an evening full of fun and laughter for fans of all ages!

This year’s event is hosted by Wapakoneta High School and will feature appearances by Wapakoneta’s pep band and cheerleaders as well as the newly-formed Mustang cheer squad!

Doors open at 6:00 PM and admission is free. All proceeds from donations and the 50/50 raffle benefiting Special Olympics of Auglaize County and COPS for the Community Fund.
